Four things you cannot buy anywhere else
These are shipped and running today, not roadmap. Each one exists because of how mAiSight is built, which is why the alternatives cannot simply add it.
Equation tooltips
Hover a symbol in a rendered equation and get the definition, grounded in the sentence of the paper or spec that introduced it. Every other AI docs layer treats math as an image. If your docs carry notation — ML, quant finance, signal processing, anything with a paper behind it — this is the difference between a glossary and a reading surface.
Bring your own model — your docs never leave your network
Extraction runs against any OpenAI-compatible endpoint, including a model you host yourself with Ollama or vLLM. Point it at your own inference server and no third party ever sees your document text; there is no LLM subprocessor in the path at all. A vendor whose hosted AI is the product structurally cannot offer you this.
A published host compatibility matrix
The first question anyone asks about a third-party script is whether it will break their docs site. We answer it with evidence rather than a promise: a public matrix of host framework × reading mode × input format, with a computed verdict per cell, regenerated from a real browser test run. Read the matrix before you talk to us, not after.
No cookies, no personal data
The widget sets no cookies, stores no persistent identifier, and never records an IP address, a raw User-Agent, or a Referer. Reader behavior is aggregated on write, and the dashboard can only read aggregates — both properties are held in place by tests that fail the build if they stop being true.
mAiSight adds no cookies and collects no personal data, so it adds nothing to your consent banner.
For your security review
Everything a reviewer normally has to ask for is already written down and public.

We hold no third-party security certification. mAiSight is not SOC 2 audited and not ISO 27001 certified, and we will not tell you otherwise on a call. What we offer instead is that the parts a certification would cover are visible: the code is public, the compatibility evidence is published, and the privacy properties are enforced by tests you can read.
